Selection Process for the post
The most common selection process of the central excise inspector is the SSC CGL entrance exam. This exam is conducted to check the ability of the potential candidate in different areas. The overall prelims examination is of 200 marks covering MCQs. The candidate needs to cover 5 papers including- General Studies, English, Arithmetic, Language, Communication Skill and writing.
